Spotlight on Jocelynn

Jocelynn B
Jocelynn is now 21 months old. At her 18 month check up she was weighing just over 21 lbs and in the 15th percentile for weight and 50th percentile for height.
Joci has turned into such a sparkly little girl, when she smiles her whole face lights up! She is the more dramatic one of the two sisters and will often throw huge tantrums if she doesnt get what she wants. She loves to play with baby dolls and LOVES any real baby. Whenever she sees one she is enamored by it and is obsessed with helping. She gives the baby its pacifier, blanket, bottle, and would hold it all day long if she could. She also loves to be with her mommy all the time. If she ever wants you to go anywhere with her she will take you hand and pull until you come with her. She is saying more and more words and sentences every day, its so much fun to watch her learn.
Things Joci loves to do:
* Play with her dog Max
* Help mommy prepare meals and make cookies
* Play at the park and go on walks
* Look at all different types of animals, horses, cats, dogs, birds (she calls all birds DuckDuck)
Things Joci loves to say:
* Momma, momma, momma (over and over to any woman near by)
* Biiiiiite!
* Airplane! (pointing them out)
* Max, Sit Down!
* No
We are so grateful to have Jocelynn in our family and love getting to see her sparkly personality grow. We love her so much!

Spotlight on Claire

* About a year ago I did a Spotlight on the girls and so I think its about time for another one!

Claire A

Claire is now 21 months old and definitely working on her Two Year Old personality. She is still as spunky as ever. She knows what she wants and what she does NOT want.
At her 18 month doctor appointment she was barely 20 pounds, but doing great on her growth curve. She is in the 10th percentile in weight and 50th percentile in height.
She is talking like crazy now and even saying some simple sentences. She loves to be a helper and will often times bring you your shoes and coat before getting hers. Claire amazes us with how smart she is and how she is learning so much every day. She understands so much more than we probably give her credit for. She knows a little too much , however, about time outs. She is becoming a very seasoned time out - er, as she learns to test her boundaries. But she reacts well to them and you can tell she is learning from the time outs. Hopefully they will become less and less as she gets older!

Claire's Favorite Things:
* Dogs, cats, horses - she points them out as we are driving

* Daddy and "daddy's truck"

* Playing with the older kids

* Going to the park or playing outside

* Drinking from a straw

Some Fun things Claire says a lot:

Drink (emphasizing the K sound), Joci SHHHH!, Max, Buh bye Daddy, More Please, Night Night baby (to her doll), buckle (in the car), and Sit Down!

We love you ClaireBear!
