Easter, April 2010

Here are the pictures from our Fun-Filled Easter Sunday! It was full of tons of family activities and General Conference. We had a lot of fun and were sure worn out at the end of the day!


When we woke up we were surprised to see that the Easter Bunny had come to our house and left us some fun treats! Some of the things we got were bubbles, chocolate and candy, jellybeans in a flip flop, and the movie Princess and the Frog!

Then we were off to Grandma and Papa Worton's house to watch the first session of Conference and have Brunch with the whole family. We also got to have a fun Easter egg hunt with all our cousins!

So, as you can see Claire is wearing something new in this picture! After our morning at the Wortons we went home for a nap and then we were off to our other Grandparents house, the Johnsons. Mommy decided that we needed to wear different dresses - she couldn't decide which ones should be our official Easter Dresses!

Then we got to have ANOTHER Easter egg hunt!!!

We had dinner with all our family on the Johnson's side that night. Then we all had fun playing and having fun! We had a great Easter Sunday! Thanks everyone!

22 Months is FUN!

Wow, we are just having so much fun this month! We are finding all these new and exciting things to do and all these new abilities we have.
We went to the doctor because our ears were hurting and we had to be weighed, UGGHHH! No thank you! Finally Mommy held us and got on the scale and then allowed the nice nurse to see her weight so as to figure out how much we weighed. It turns out that we we were the EXACT SAME WEIGHT! 24 pounds and 4 ounces. Nice. We did NOT like the doctor to look in our ear and it took two people to hold us each down so he could look. But alas, mommy won (she always does...) and he got a look. We have ear infections! Sad. but now with our medicine we are feeling a lot better!
Some fun things we learned how to do this past two weeks were probably Moms Favorite. Just kidding. She did not look very happy when she found us...
We figured out how to climb up the kitchen cabinets with no stools or chairs! Mom is pretty surprised at how strong our upper bodies are. She was even more surprised to see what we were doing on the counter top. We found BUTTER! It was really fun and squishy. We decided to spread it all over our clothes and all over the countertop. But, Mom did not like this idea. We got a time out! And we had to change our clothes...
Then, a couple days later we found a little tub of something that smelled really cool! It helped our noses get all cleared up. SO we decided we needed to smear this all over our bodies and ESPECIALLY in our hair! Our house smelled minty fresh for a long time after that. Mom was not too happy about our discovery, we got another time out. And a LOT of baths. Apparently this stuff (Mom calls it Vicks VapoRub) is hard to wash out of our hair. She washed our hair 12 times with Dawn dishwashing soap in three days. So now our hair is fine! But boy was it fun!
We are having a great time keeping ourselves and our Mommy busy these days!
Well, thats about it for now, until we find something else fun to get into!

Our First Trip to the Zoo this year!

One saturday it was SOOOO nice and sunny outside so we convinced Mommy and Daddy that they needed to take us to the ZOO to see some animals.
Pretty much everyone else in the state had the same idea and it was kinda crowded, but alas, we made it and it was a blast!

This is Mommy's first time trying to post a video so... We hope it works. This is our new favorite thing to do and we introduced it to our BFF Paisley, who also now LOVES it!

Mommy's Disclaimer: Disregard the messy room, the general unkempt hair of the girls (Paisley excluded, she is always so cutely done!), and the fact that I turned the camera on the side for a minute forgetting that it wont correct itself onscreen!

Ok so one day, during nap, Mommy went in to check on Joci. She came in and was alarmed to find...

NOTHING! She was gone! Where did she go?

But wait! She really WAS there!

One thing lately we both are really into is BABIES. We love everything that has to do with babies - so we love to play with our baby cousin's car seat!
